yes, there is an organization in Southern California...it's called , Sothern California Mapua Organization...website is www.socalmapua.org check it out and be a member it is an active group.

I live in N-Calif but i do not know of any existing Mapua Organizations around here. Probably, all Mapua grads engineers in this area are bussy working for their lucrative professions and no time for social life like this-- Sothern Calif has all the time to organize because it is very close to the border of Mexico, my only take.

I'm connected sa Green Energy Technology, Alternative energy company based in San Rafael, start-up company lang, so medyo unstable pa.. Madalas ako dati dyan sa Starbucks sa Union Landing. Ikaw wer do you work?

Hi, I was in Mapua from 1981 to 1983 but obviously did not graduate kasi I had to come to the US na.  Mag ka batch tayo baka naging classmate pa kita during our 1st 2 years sa Mapua.   I was there taking MIE and by the way was Miss MIE 1983 (I definitely do not look like I did back then now).  I was varsity sa women's volleyball the entire time I was there.   My husband is Tony Magpantay who played Basketball for Mapua and part of the 1982 championship team.   We are now based in Folsom, California.

By the way my name is Chinky.

Anyway, it would be nice to have a Norther California Mapua Alumnai Organization.  Sa dami nating Filipino dito sa Norther California I am surprise there isn't one already.   We were based in Chicago for about 22 years and just moved to California noong 2005.

MEP consulting firm sa dublin......maraming projects ngayon ang target ay LEED......kaya napilitan akong mag LEED exam....

Yes, kilala ko si Nap.  Close siya sa family ng husband ko back in the days.   Si Leo Pujante laging kasama ng husband ko noon pati sa pagbisita sa bahay.  Sila Bong Ramos at Junel Bakuli ang mga kabarkad ni Tony, my husband.   Wala akong masyadong kakilala sa batch natin kasi sa gym ang tabayan ko noon with my teammates pero kung meron akong mahanap, I'll email you.
