Quote
Fellow MAPUANS,

NAMA office advised all Mapua Alumni to get a copy of their authenticated Diploma and Transcript of Records (TOR) within this year (2009).

This is in connection to the confirmation from the NAMA secretary that Mapua documents will be replaced by Malayan documents by 2010.

Meaning, if you requested a copy of your TOR in January 2010, you will be receiving a TOR with the MALAYAN logo. And most probably, a MALAYAN diploma too.

Also, if you still don’t have your NAMA Id, the NAMA office is urging us to get the Id within this year (2009).

Not sure though if the NAMA office at MIT-Intramuros will be removed once the implementation of the said change pushes through in 2010.

Please call the Customer Service or NAMA office for clarifications before making any action.

Mapua Hotline is (02) 247-5000.

Also, please take time to register in the NAMA site: http://http://www.mapuaalumni.org/NAMA/register.php

Don't worry about it, meron pa naman sa Recto di ba? Grin I think that's what it will amount to. The paper your Malayan diploma will be printed on will be the same as the one you can get from Recto, literally and figuratively. Angry

It's a travesty for the old school Mapuans after what each one of us went thru to earn a degree there. I guess we just need to move on as our Mapua education is just a foundation and doesn't make us for what we are today.

Now a days most who are in MAPUA are those who wants its name and fame, not like before they want to be a MAPUAN to earned their degree as a professional ENGRINEER's and ARCHITECH's (from Mapua's loosing its touch)

Bakit nagkaganoon? Akala ko ba, NAMA opposed that move of changing the name of our school to Malayan University. Pinaikutan lang pala tayo. Is there any other option?
