Hello, I lost my MIT High School 1962 Yearbook many, many moons ago and I am desperately looking for a copy.  Is there any one out there who might know where I can get a copy? Does anyone have an extra copy laying around, looking for a good home and waiting to be owned? If so, please let me know. I am open to negotiate a reasonable offer, including shipping or local pick-up. I am hoping to find a copy, maybe not the best but at least  in fair condition, maybe some reasonable wear but most preferably with no missing or torn pages. I can be reached at: islandlures@yahoo.com . Thank you very much.

Cheers to all,

Monty Miraflor

Hi there! Got your message. We have an upcoming event our 33rd MITHS Grand Alumni Homecoming
on Nov. 28 2009, 6:00 PM at Quezon City Sports Plaza,  we are selling some copies of yearbook on that
said affair. If you are free you could come and get a copy of your yearbook.

Hello Angel, I just read your message.

I would like to grab a copy of the yearbook for the Class of 1962.  Is there someone who actually has copies of the books at the moment. Would it be possible to contact him or her. I have found and I am in touch with other classmates  who I am sure will also be interested in obtaining a copy. Would you be able to let me know how much each will cost. I cannot physically pick them up but if I can get the contact number or an email address of the person in charge of distributing the yearbook, I would really appreciate it very much.  I will then have someone contact them and possibly arrange to deliver the payment and pick the book up. The 9 other fellow 1962 graduates that I am in contact with, will surely want a copy as well. In all, depending on the cost, I will probably get 10 copies, if possible.

If there is a copy of the 1961 issue, which includes my third year class, I would also like a copy of that issue. I would greatly appreciate it if you could fill me in with the answers to my queries regarding the availability of these books.

Please let me know. My email address is: islandlures@yahoo.com

Thank you for the info.

Monty,

Angel, I understand everything and I see all the points you are trying to make. I sympathize with you. I can only guess, just like everyone who has all the political and monetary resources in the Philippines, the new owners are there for the business of it,  nothing more nothing less. Gone are the days of old schools, old tradition and old values. Today, everything is money, money and more money. I guess we will just have to bite the bullet.

A few of my classmates from the Class of 1962 might be able to attend this month's reunion. I asked one of them to see if he can pick up a few of the copies for us. His name is Danny Santos and he is based in northern California. I have made arrangements with him and I will remind him again to make sure that he will get us the copies. He will be returning to the US sometime next year. If you know the person who is in charge of the"Yearbook" distribution, please have them save the copies for us. We would gladly pay for the books as long as the price is "reasonable". Otherwise, if the prices becomes too excessively commercial... then "they" can just stow it.

Thank you very much and have fun at the reunion.

You could see some copy of that on the MIT high School library. There should be a copy for the class of 1962. Anyway, it is one of the duties of the libraries, isn't? computerseo.com

@ jenchrysalis

Thank you for the information. I will try to visit their Library the next time I visit Manila. Hopefully they will have extra copies available to those who want one. I won't mind parting away with a token donation as long as it is for a good cause and as long as it is also affordable.

Cheers
